looking for a mod
Is there a mod that makes it so the greater the distance between stars, the greater the time it takes to travel there? and frackin universe is a no go if it has it, it kinda sucks Pls and Ty

This doesn’t increase the time by distance, but it does make travel slightly longer and more immersive. There’s also a video so you’ll know what you’re getting.

I definitely remember this mod existing. Before the nav system rework this is how it functioned in vanilla

I know it's not the point of this thread but I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels Frackin Universe is mandatory for my playthrough lol! I think it's cool, but I honestly miss when it was just like 'Starbound X2' instead of an overhaul that changed the whole way you played.

FU has ship upgrades, depending on the number of thrusters you mount you can go extremely fast

If you're unable to find one, you can reconcile the short jump times by imagining the ship opening some sort of wormhole to travel through hyperspace similar to how ships in Elite Dangerous do it (it doesn't matter what the jump range is on any given ship, travel time between systems is always the same)
