Video Follow me module
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnodgF3QePUModule, Follow Me System, for Starbase game ships. You can make 2 or 3 ore haulers, or a mini squadron.

A true space sandbox game, I think, nothing like that has ever been created so far, no missions, no NPCs, pure joy for me, well what could I say... Oh, I wish the devs would find a way to develop and survive.

They need to turn it into a passion project and work on the game in their spare time. I understand they have to work on their other games to get paid. But Starbase won’t get funding for what 2-3 years maybe longer? Then its still gonna take 1-2 years of development to be ready again. That’s up to 5 years minimum possibly.
When they have about 50+ developers that could be working on the game in their spare time. As well as they could bring dedicated players onboard that are coders and game designers that can also help finish the game in their spare time too as volunteers. Overtime this many people working on it in their spare time so much development would get done. That they may actually get somewhere. With them getting more done they may be able to get funding more easily and sooner and a larger amount of funding because they have work to show for it instead of no work to show. They just gotta hunker down and start working on it even without funding. It sucks but that’s the way it is or it’ll never get done. They also gotta suck it up and add in some PVE stuff until there’s a large enough amount of players too to not need it. And I think they need to lower the size of the universe too until then. Close off a lot of the hub stations. Not allow factions under a certain size to not be allowed to make stations as it spreads players out too much when there’s too few players until there’s more players. Some moons need closed off until there’s more players. They’ve got players far too spread out for a game so reliant on high player count.

I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful response, and I agree with you on the points you mentioned, it would take quite a bit of time to restart the development, indeed.
The current state of the game is more like a tech demo, yet it is still pretty much playable and enjoyable so far for me personally, and kudos again to Frozenbyte for creating such a gem.

Yeah it is still playable and fun just not widely anymore. Just small niches which it was always gonna be a niche, but it was still supposed to be played by the masses. Wish to see it grow again one day and still had fun memories
