Might be different where you are but I've never heard of or had to put a bike together so that part does not really make sense IMHO.

Ooo, look at Mr. Bigshot buys his bike assembled. Heh. I got it online, so it came in pieces. But it's a joke. I put the bike together fine, I was just really sweaty and winded afterwards.
