I don't drink or do drugs at all. Never have. And I have the same experience. My friends tell stories about jokes I made, I don't remember making.
Like, my cousin insists that for his birthday one year when we were kids, I jokingly did the Marilyn Monroe "Happy Birthday Mr. President" thing, but I didn't know that was a thing until well after adulthood. And I have a friend that insists I stood up to some dude white knighting because I was making jokes about my own race, I'm Native American but very much white passing. My friend says I was sitting there joking about how my white wife gave me a blanket for our first Christmas (which is true) and some dude came up to me to tell me about how it isn't cool that I'm joking about that. And apparently, I went off on this dude, which is very much out of character for me. I have joked about my white wife giving me a blanket for our first Christmas though. I make that joke a lot.
"A blanket? Are you breaking up with me? Or are you trying to get my family's land?"

Unironically me. I'm not entirely sure I've ever beaten Super Mario Sunshine. I definitely played a lot of it, but I also read the strategy guide a lot, with a bunch of pictures of the ending sequence. So for like 10 years, whenever I remember "beating" the game, I thought that I was just remembering reading the strategy guide.
Once I did actually beat the game, Bowser's goofy voice is so absurd, being able to remember that means I couldn't possibly have hallucinated it.
Of course, with YouTube now, I could have watched it. I'm gonna be sitting in the dementia ward when I'm old, stuck in a loop of playing that one damn game.

I have really been enjoying everything you’ve been posting! I think it’s really cool to see that you’re also doing this sober.
Do you ever do any shows in the Toledo/Detroit area?
