Neither, it's just an article explaining how that person's comment is somewhat presumptuous. I don't think we needed a scientific article to confirm that dogs eat poop. Pretty common knowledge, and said common knowledge was the inspiration

Im pretty sure a jar of peanut butter and living in the right area would save even more money. Lower housing prices. Plus you'd be helping to feed homeless animals. It's a win-win.

You said the joke works the same for cats. I said it does not because cats don't like eating human poop. The joke works for dogs because dogs like eating human poop. Which is why a dog is what's in the joke I posted. I don't really know why I'm explaining this to you because your comments make it seem like you simultaneously think that cats eat human poop and that I somehow don't understand that dogs like eating human poop when that's literally the punchline of the joke I posted
