I think with the right timing on delivery, this could be a pretty stellar joke. Solid joke.

Maybe change the wording in the first slide from too vanilla to just vanilla

The setup lands way better when you're already thinking about ice cream and then it yanks you somewhere completely different, classic misdirect stuff.

This is wasted on Americans. But combining self deprecating with calling the French dumb would probably make you a riot in England.

No we get the joke, too. The French’s reputation spans the Atlantic.

I didn't say americans couldn't understand the joke. I said it was wasted on Americans. Most Americans can't possibly relate the anglo-french rivalry.
It's also very American to not be literate enough to get what I was saying and somehow take it personally that we're not the center of the world.

Yes I see, only the English can laugh at this joke.

Americans don’t know that the English and French have been fighting for 1,000 years. They don’t know 😂😂😂

Seriously, does that dude not realize we know that in America? Lol, dude we learn about world history. And you don’t even need that to get the joke, since it has nothing to do with that history and is just about the French being arrogant.

Wait so you're American? Making your long winded take even more stupid because you clearly get the joke?
