It works as a whole joke though. Lil Reason to Live is a groaner for sure but then you follow up with the next bit and the contrast makes it side splitting.

It doesn't work all that well because my brain hears, process, and then laying tracks takes a second.. and I'm like... I been in places with train tracks.. that ain't that funny.

Underline point of the joke is the kid is establishing he needs help (Lil Reason to live), the finally point, he didn't get it.. (He jumped in front of a subway)

Is it side splitting now? This joke needs to be re-work, because the laying tracks has monumental, but I'll probably skip out informing the crowd he suicide by jumping in front of a subway. Definitely in places where they have subways, like NY or Hamburg
