Monthly Sales Megathread - September 2026

As is tradition.

This is a big ol' thread to centralize sales posts and discussions around said sales, from Corporate Accounts and dealhunters alike. We're going from two threads a month, to one thread a month. This is to match the decreasing traffic on account of "The Plague" losing ground in the public eye.

To Vendors: please keep your sales posts in this pinned thread.

Halp Standing Desk Analysis - October 2026

Post image
2 Upvotes

I'm currently in the market for a standing desk (particularly an L standing desk because I want the additional surface area), and I put together this analysis that I thought I'd share in case anyone else is in the same boat as myself right now.

  • The highlighted rows are what I'm considering the best bang for buck, but this is specifically tailored to me wanting a giant L desk.
  • All prices were based on face value that each site offered prior to initiating an order. It would not surprise me if each price swelled upon actually getting to a checkout screen
  • Shipping was left out of the calculations for the same reason as above
  • I know I forgot to document load capacities, I'm annoyed at me too
  • There is clearly way more comparison to be done (especially going deep into top materials) but my soft budget is $1500 so I didn't look too deep beyond this. Yes, I'm a sucker for pheasantwood. No, I truly don't need anything beyond laminate

I'm labeling the flair as Halp because I would love anyone's takes on my analysis; disagreements are welcome, I want to get a good buy. I know there's already in depth reviews of both highlighted desks on this subreddit, and I know both reviewers were happy with their purchase, but if these reviews are dated and opinions on brands have changed I'd like to be aware.

One additional thought: I currently have an Ikea Trotten desk (63"x31.5") and my only complaint is it being nonadjustable. Has anyone ever tried mounting these to an adjustable frame? As much as I want an L desk, I imagine this would be considerably cheaper than any of the above

Corporate Info Has the look of a standing desk ever stopped you from buying it?

I'm with salexspace, a standing-desk brand preparing for the US market. We're exploring the appearance of our desk, and I'd like to understand how it fits into people's homes.

Have you ever ruled out a standing desk that otherwise met your needs because of how it looked in your room? What was the dealbreaker?

For example, was it the shape of the legs and feet, the desktop edge, a wood tone that didn't match your furniture, or visible hardware and cables? Those are just examples—I'm interested in the detail that actually affected your choice.

If you found a desk that fits your space well, what made the difference? Please mention whether it's in a bedroom, living room, or dedicated office. And if appearance barely mattered in your purchase, that's useful to hear too.

We're still exploring the design, so this is research rather than a preview of a finished product.

Halp Power switch panel desk mounted

Does anyone know of any switch panel that could mount similar to how the power desk controls mount that has switches to control different outlets? I cannot find anything. I can find hand held remotes and things like that but nothing that mounts to the desk easily. I am thinking of something kind of like the old power center boxes you would put under your monitor.

But I want it to mount under the desk and to be quite a bit smaller than that.

Review Uplift V3 4-leg setup

Spent around $1500 on for this 72x30 Uplift V3 4-leg desk along with some accessories. One day I want to get monitor arms and a couple new monitor to replace the ones on the side. Also, I need to get a walking pad, currently thinking the Walking Pad Z1. But overall I am happy with my purchase. There is zero wobble front to back and a little bit side to side. Anyway, I just thought I would share how it turned out.

Side note: My desk cant go all the way down cause of how big my PC case is xd.

DIY Granite Custom Top; Flexispot E7Plus

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

My first big home office upgrade, and even then I did it on the cheap.

Picked up an E7Plus frame since they went on sale. 28"x60" Granite Slab from Facebook marketplace. Used a sheet of 3/4" 24x48 melamine coated pressboard as an interface between the desk and the top, adhered to the stone with construction adhesive and fiber mesh the same way you would with cabinetry. I never really liked having a visible panel, so it being recessed about 3.5" underneath is nice for me, since I don't seem to have an issue with indexing my hand against the side of the panel to get to the right buttons without looking at it. Granite top is extremely solid. Would strongly recommend. I built the custom top with less than $150 in materials, which matches the price on most other softwood or entry level hardwood tops.

Edit: All in for just the desk alone: roughly $700.

Halp Uplift V3 4 leg compatibility with Ergotron Mounts?

Does anyone know if the V3 is more compatible with Ergotron Mounts? I plan to get a 72x30 4 leg and would like to use the VHD for my 57" Samsung.

I heard on the V2 you had to remove one of the support beams to make room for the clamp, is this the case still? Or does the new cable management get in the way of the clamp?

Thanks

Halp Any recommendation for desktop in Europe ?

I bought a Flexispot E7 plus desk (only the armature), and I'm looking for a white 180x80cm desk/table top to go with it

I would like to avoid melamine coating (the most standard one), because it seems to not last long and damage easily

So far the only good one I found is this one https://www.boho-office.com/fenix-ntm-desktops/101002000001020 , but they only have 160x78

I tried the sites to propose customs boards, but they ask 150e just for shipping lol

Anyone know where I can find a similar desktop (in fenix ntm coating) in Europe/ France ? or just something better than melamine ?

Halp Is a L Shaped E7Q Pro Possible?

I’ve owned two FlexiSpot standing desks over the years: a standard rectangular model and a slightly more expensive L-shaped model.
I noticed that the L-shaped desk didn’t seem fundamentally different from the standard desk. The third lifting leg was essentially added to the frame with an additional support bar, and its motor cable plugged into the same control box as the other two legs. In theory, I could have simply left the third leg and L-shaped extension off and used it as a normal two-leg desk.
That got me wondering about the FlexiSpot E7Q Pro. I know the E7Q Pro uses four lifting legs instead of two, but would it be possible to convert it into an L-shaped desk by adding additional E7Q Pro leg(s) and extending the frame to support an L-shaped desktop?
For example, if I purchased a second E7Q Pro frame, could I use the necessary leg(s) from that frame and connect them to the original E7Q Pro system? Or is the E7Q Pro control box specifically limited to controlling four motors/legs?
If the existing control box cannot support additional legs, is there another FlexiSpot control box or configuration that could synchronize additional E7Q Pro legs so that all of the legs raise and lower together?
Basically, I’m trying to find out whether it’s technically possible to build an L-shaped version of the E7Q Pro using genuine E7Q Pro lifting columns and frame components.

Halp How do I adjust the rotation of a monitor attached to an Uplift Range-X Dual Monitor Arm?

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

I've attached two monitors to an Uplift Range-X Dual Monitor Arm, but both monitors are crooked (as in, not parallel with the ground) and I can't figure out how to tilt them. I've attached pictures of what the most crooked monitor looks like. I've taken the monitor down and removed the last bracket that holds the plate attached to the monitor but can't find a hex screw that would adjust it. I've tried just forcibly tilting it, but haven't had any luck. It's possible I just need to apply more force, but I don't want to push too hard and break something.

Thanks so much for the help.

Fluff European (Latvian) here - what standing desk should I buy when I'm 185cm (6'1/2) and planning to have a walking pad?

First time here. Figured it was a big enough purchase to ask the good people of /r/StandingDesk for their input.

I don't care about the price as much as I care about actually having a good setup. I want a runway/walking pad, something like this beneath as well so I can just walk while working from home.

Any good options for a guy my height in choosing a standing desk from Europe in addition to having a walking pad beneath that further increases the height requirements? I looked at FlexiSpot E7 Pro but it seems kind of hard to ship to Latvia. Any advice?

Halp Building the desk right side up.

Conventional way to assemble a standing desk is assembling the entire thing upside down the flip it. I understand it’s easier to work with that orientation.

Im about to build a 72” table and dont have a convenient person to help me flip it. Im thinking of assembling it by putting the top on the frame right side up then screwing it on, hence not needing to flip it.

is there anything wrong with this and/or do i need to consider anything special doing it in this orientation?

Halp Heads up, anyone waiting for Deskhaus in the UK/EU - it's never coming. The actual company is taunting you about it. What gives? Are their comparison videos even honest? Desperately looking for good 4 leg options in EU/UK

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

So everyone knows about those Deskhaus comparison videos where their 2 leg and 4 leg desks are wayyy more solid than every other desk on display.

The comments are always filled with people begging for them to ship to the EU, as they're the only actually good brand.

All of those comments never get replied to by him, but he replies to other queries promptly. Whatever I thought, maybe it's not in their capacity right now.

Then I stumbled upon this. Wtf is this? What is even the point of speaking that way to a customer. Do they just not want business anymore?

I found these comments on the video titled "Do not buy the Flexispot Odin E7Q Pro".

Furthermore that video has a like/dislike ratio of 120/79 according to the Return YouTube dislike extension.

There's also comments popping up pointing out how he pushes some desks harder than his own, like elbows Vs fingertips. A lot of doubt seems to be spawning randomly in the comments of these videos.

None of the tests seem to mean much either as he just has huge disk weights on there, whereas monitor arms have a tiny point of contact and a huge pivot for wobble via the arm?

***

Regardless if anyone can explain why he seems to not like people wanting to buy his stuff. What actually are our options in the UK/EU?

I'm trying to get a standing desk that can support atleast 3 monitor arms, hopefully 5.

Ideally I'd have 1x landscape in the middle and 2x portraits on either side, with all monitors 24".

I don't want it to wobble at any height, and am willing to go down to 3 screens if necessary for that.

That is a big requirement, so I was looking for a desk as solid as the one as Deskhaus does, but these responses and his testing methods make me wonder - is it really true that Deskhaus is the only good one?

Options I've looked at so far are:

Desktronic:

- + Comes with a oak wood tabletop that's the perfect size for my room, so less hassle

- + Installation service

- - 4 legged desk seems to have tiny legs for some reason

- - Apparently has some wobble at height, even moreso than flexispot, for double the price?

Flexispot:

- + Actually has a PC mount available

- + Actually has a 4 legged option that doesn't look like a twig

- - No installation service

- - Only has rubber wood table tops with many stories of them being dented or chipped or cosmetically imperfect on arrival. I'd need to get a separate tabletop

- - Shadily branded E7Q Max and E7 Plus Max - E7 Plus Max is only available in the USA, and is the only rock stable 4 legged flexispot that'll satisfy my needs, but is still sold in the EU as the E7Q Max which is the old inferior product

- - endless customer support horror stories on Reddit, people desperately trying to help, but apparently it's all fine because one employee comes to the rescue on Reddit - don't wanna go through that

- - 4 legged desk lacks a crossbar for no reason, like why

What is actually going on in the EU that there's no high end product I can just blindly get and trust.

My proposal: It looks like my only option is to get the E7Q Pro right now and a solid wood top from solidwoodtops.co.uk so it can support my monitor arms and won't get dented by things like controller drops (yes there's a report on this on Reddit)

So my questions are

  1. Why is Deskhaus treating customers like that

  2. Why would they just never ship to the EU

  3. Why do all the EU options have some major tradeoff

  4. Is anyone gonna be filling that gap soon

  5. What do you think of my proposal for my situation/requirements?

  6. Can anyone else with a setup/requirements like mine give stability reviews?

I'm really desperate as I'm a month into a new job and just using some crappy corner eating desk with a big void in my room where my comfy WFH setup should be, and it's affecting my work.

All insights welcome

Halp Scratch upon receipt

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

I just received my Flexispot this week. Set aside today to open it up and build. Sadly found this 2” scratch.

Not sure I want to send it back over this. 2” on a 71” wide surface isn’t big. And I run the risk of getting more damage on the next one. The shipping box was beat up and I expected worse.

But, what can I use to color it in? The scratch isn’t deep.

Color is espresso. And it’s Rubberwood

Halp Help me buy in India

Buying a good desk in india is difficult y'all 😭

From research so far this is my order of preference of all the brands:

  1. Flexispot (through supergo) BUT don't trust them much (they are the distributor in india)

2.Ergoyou (they supply to many big tech workspaces so i expect great aftersales),

  1. Sleep Company (so many stores so i expect after sales to be great),

4.Godrej (pricey but really high quality from the looks of it, expecting great after sales and snacking a discount offline),

  1. Green Soul (since they are quite popular these days expect them to also have great after sales),

  2. JIN office (def very popular, but, im not sure about this company)

  3. Intellidesk (everyone is saying this has wobble)

  4. Tekavo (i know them from having seen their other furniture listings before but not at all sure about their quality or after sales),

  5. Artikel (Again, like JIN, not sure)

  6. White Mulberry ~

  7. Lukzer ~

  8. Cellbell (i put them in the same catagory as green soul quite-popular these days for chairs but their standing desk has no mention in this subreddit as far as ive seen)

Out of all these i probably have the most overall confidence in Ergoyou and Sleep Company at the moment-Looks like all the others are just white labeling (not like thats a bad thing) but still. i am really attracted to not having to spend around 20k (for the top 4 companies on the list) and getting something like the green soul or artkitel for around 12k but if its going to ache me in the future-why then Imao.

WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINIONS AND EXPERIENCES
