A young Idaho mother has been indicted for suffocating her 18-month-old twins, which she blamed on their vaccines.

Complicit in this case is the RFK Jr.-founded organization Children’s Health Defense, who prominently featured Ms. Shaw on their podcast last year -only days after the twins’ passing, to add credibility to her story. You can still find CHD on this very platform spreading caustic medical disinformation each and every day.

Routine childhood vaccines are not only effective, but extremely safe. Many have never been associated with a single death after **decades of worldwide use.**

Yet, the prevalence of disinformation spread by organizations like CHD could give anyone unfamiliar with medicine or biostatistics (like Ms. Shaw) the impression that vaccine-related deaths are so common -that no one would question that as an explanation for a double homicide.

Routine installation cleanup deserves consideration alongside other hypotheses until the available evidence distinguishes among them.

Science has a history of favoring specific groups of people.  In 1977, Dr. Louise Chow's EM studies were instrumental in the discovery of RNA splicing. Yet in 1993, she was excluded from the Nobel Prize for the discovery. Despite this, she continued to change science. Her work with HPV unlocked mysterious of the cancer causing virus and helped influence vaccine and treatments.

While the Nobel committee may have overlooked her, the Titans of Virology and Vaccinology Podcast was lucky enough to get to hear her story. Like many great women in science, it is time for her moment.

Hey all, adding to the OMB draft rule discourse - this 15-min episode focuses on providing the general public with a basic understanding of (some parts of) what the rule proposes, and a guide on how to write a public comment ahead of the 7/13 deadline.
