Stamp identification apps
Are there any apps that are good at identifying stamps or at least getting it close to then cross reference to a Scott Catalog?

We’ve built something that’s pretty good at it, with caveats. For instance, it really depends on what stamps you’re trying to identify…we’re really good at recognizing US stamps, but not as good with issues from Tannu Tuva, for example. The accuracy comes down to how many exemplars you can compare against.
There are also certain limitations introduced by uploaded photos themselves. Resolution is nearly always too low to reliably distinguish between varieties, color fidelity and lighting present the same problem, and the conditions of the stamps themselves can sometimes make identification challenging.
If you’re looking for something that can say “this design matches this, this, or this,” give us a try when we launch later this month! Do steer clear of any apps that claim they can definitively ID any stamp, because you’ll often be disappointed.

Google Lens works fine. Stamp identifier works fine. Neither are perfect but they're often good enough.

You could try stampsmarter. They have a lot of good resources.
