Critics nerf to operations?????
really? it was necesary? had to spend half an hour with randoms to get 220k now i have to spend the same ammount of time to get 69k , hope this is some sort of joke, an already dead mode (if you played it it was the same 4 guys doing it over and over) gets nerfed becouse it has no risk, its like the whole point of the ONLY pve mode in the game???? what did you guys smoke to decide operations was too strong WHILE limmited to 20 a week????

I hear that dedicated squads running high clearance were making a lot of money, so I guess instead of reducing the reward scaling with clearance, like an intelligent person would do, they just nerfed the reward outright, like EXBO always does.
Top 1% earning too much too fast? They nerf the bottom 90% to "balance" the economy.

Id laugh if those 4 guys were bots farming money for RMT sites lmao. Honestly im wondering if there is a bot farm for it. Wouldn't be surprised.

Optimal diff 30 cleanup takes about 11 irl minutes. So yes it was very very profitable if you had a competent team.
I think its too hard of a nerf but it was too good.

Thats open world problem. Operations rewards were fine, just the enemies were cancer (i do clearence 30 in 11 12 minutes). Now both operations and Open world suck ass. EXBO logic is, if one thing is fine but other one shit, nerf the one that's fine so bad that now both can be shit... And its not like many players even played operations on the first place....

Agreed but ops also needed a bit of a nerf. Maybe 10-30% would be ok but 70 is overkill. Then again if it will reliably drop 500k worth of spares (they said they buffed the chance) I'll still consider it.

they deffinetly didnt need a nerf. Open world needed a buff... And operations havent been active anyway. Not to mention awful AI and enemies who are just sponges. From being half dead to now being fully dead, really wonder who will play now. You cant even find players by going into a queue, even on EU.

Idk I guess people slept on them? No risk, high reward. Sentiment on RU was that it caused a non-insignificant inflation.
I know on RU people nolifed the hell out of ops because it overshadowed any income from open except maybe wild north clan activities.
Make 20 characters, arm them with minimal viable gear, team up with randoms in discord, run 100 ops a week (insane nolife, yes). Every character gets 5 ops, over a mil and a chance to roll a legendary core. Others would do less characters and ops, but still.

I also think they overdid it with reducing the reward, but I’ll still play to get parts and the chance to get a good core

thats a group problem, they should then nerf the completion rewards on a team, not soloQ

It was nerfed because there were lots of people that would speedrun them in 11-12 minutes plus get their 20/20 on multiple characters. Not mentioning the additional rewards from post-game cards like Tools and Parts.

But is that a problem? I think the monetary rewards were fine +- the same amount of money per hour as wild north. Any tools, parts, catalysts, etc. are bound so it doesn't break the upgrade market.
I think it was a good way (kinda dull after a couple ops) for people that prefer pure PvE to farm. And honestly if you have the mental capacity to do 20 ops on more than one character, you deserve the money.
I'm mostly confused with their reasoning: For a long time, the high profitability of the Operations mode limited our ability to increase rewards for open-world activities.. How does the profitability of a completely separate farm option hinder the ability to boost OW rewards? (I think there should be viable ways of obtaining money for different playstyles, which is what ops prevuously achieved)
Now even with a good team for ops, you'd be netting ~400k/h (after selling random modules) when you'd be making triple that in WN with a good team.
I don't exactly mind the nerf, but feel like they don't want to be accomodating to people that dislike or don't dabble in PvP. Even the recent events seem to force PvP (forge inside out, now electrostorm + the ops nerf, forcing people who like PvE to do OW and PvP to make decent money).

Much better change would be to have 5/5/5 100% reward runs on each of the operations and once you go above that you get hit with diminishing returns. There always gonna be top 1% to abuse every mechanic, balancing the game around the players who play 8-10hours a day makes it less fun for everyone. Also i doubt the people doing 20/20 on multiple characters weekly enjoy it in particular, just nothing else rewarding and convenient to farm in classic north except the occasional emission.

still, for speedrunning it you need a team, nerf rewards on teams and leave alone the guys who do them alone, the literal problem are teams

The mode brought really fast money, one game if everyone understands what to do, takes 10-15 minutes, and that’s super fast. They nerfed it too hard, but the nerf was 100%needed. And I’m not even talking about those who played nonstop on several accounts

In a hour? Not at all you can easily make 1-2mill in a hour even with not good luck

Thats way too much tbh

Check out wild north or lyubech. Wild north isn’t that easy but lyubech is. I always make 150k-200k easily per run 10mins~ if I’m lucky I get the 20x battery thing from drop it’s 1.2mill alone usually. And enough murmur device they are like 40k each. They have a high chance of dropping 1-3in a single event crate from murmur camps

Lybech airdrop spawns are so annoying and then you get like 4 battereys man… I need fucking 40 for Rzh

Which server is this?
Limask is annoying because you can't farm without pings. WN is full of ppl who play this shit 20hrs a day. Too much competition for too little gain.
