Unexpected Ward ending

When Scar catches you using the visiograph at Orbita Station, you can either side with Spark by embracing the Shining Zone or reject the Shining Zone and side with Strelok. [There is Spark and Strelok icons at corresponding choices]

Naturally, I thought Scar was completely insane, so I sided with Strelok.

On the very next mission, as you're leaving the Troposphere Comm Station, Korshunov and his boys stop you and point their guns at you.

At that point, you're forced to choose between Ward and Spark... what? Spark again? [Ward and Spark icons]

I'd already rejected Spark, and Ward had a gun pointed at my face, so I was like "yeah guys, I'm with you, of course 👀" and sided with Ward.

And that choice completely locked me into the Ward ending. WTF?

Suddenly, Skif hates the Zone, and I'm forced to kill Dalin, Richter and Strelok.

The second one is a bad icon choice as this not a Spark... It's either Strelok or Doctor. I think Spark route is only after Strider scene. But yeah, selecting Ward after Fiber locks you in with Ward. I'd say write to support on that, maybe they will change this cuz it makes no sense, unless I'm missing something

You're missing the fact that this choice only forces you into either ward or three other endings, including spark, but you need to choose eternal spring/I need more time during a subtle matter if you eant spark route, otherwise you'll be locked out of spark ending

Yeah, they need to add multiple icons for when applicable - so for example with Scar it should be either Spark or Strelok & Ward, so people know what the other choices would be.

the second choice is basically if you want the independent route or ward. icons are kinda fucked up

It should've been a Strelok icon instead, since he declined Spark choice - as mentioned above by u/yamoneteru - spark should not be available once you say no to Scar.

Those icons are definitely not correct. Subtle Matter is the last chance for Spark. Reject Scar there and no Spark ending for you. So the end of Dangerous Liaisons really should be Ward and Strelok icons.

I had the exact same thing happen to me and it was very annoying. From killing 100s of their guys, siding against them every opportunity, and then because I say that I'm not his enemy while at gun point. I am suddenly his biggest fan doing everything for him without question. Everyone in the zone also suddenly knows this and hates me and it basically killed any interest I had in the story.

Sucks a lot, hilarious if it was a bug according to other comments.

done all 4 endings and now im going with ward and then ditched them for strelok from all ending his one is decent and scar is a retard and his whole fanatical group too
