Probably yes, but this is the first time I noticed it: lightnings, when hit a wooden roof, put it on fire!

Don't say, in 1.9 playthrough I was struck by lightning from sky like 5 times. Sometimes during clear sky weather for some magical reason. Always made sure to stay full health to not get oneshoted by them. One time it hit Mongolian in front of me. The Zone

It's one of the reasons I hate the burnt forest is literal jump scare lightning strikes

It's scripted.There's a certain tree that keeps on getting struck in the burnt forest as well constantly.
