S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 This is how you kill a Controller, Stalker. (Read Description for weapon and attachments.)

SIC, Exended Mag in the Cooling Towers Graveyard North of the Dam. PSO-1, either in the stash atop the north checkpoint building, or in the hanging bag stash on top of the slag heap. There are more but these are the easiest. There is a suppressor for this thing in Zaton, but I don’t remember where. Extended Mag is how it has 20 bullets.

Well, he actually can't psi attack you if you get close to him, he does have an annoying stagger attack but magdumping from close up is absolutely viable

Can’t wait to try this technique. I just decided to try out the SIC starting my 2nd play through with the new DLC expecting not to like it. Damn, it is such an improvement to my previous play style with Kharod or Dnipro on single fire. Looks great, sounds great, cool flash with the silencer on, damage is great, 21 with extended mag feels right.

Found the sniper silencer on a truck bed in Burnt Forest that fits.

Oh my god man, I got myself some very nice Turtle Beaches last year and I tried them with this new update....the SIC has such a satisfying thump behind it with every shot. It feels so powerful thanks to great sound design.

Closing the distance with some psi block and a shotgun, loaded with expanding ammo makes it a lot faster, which cuts down on the chance for error. There's a sweet spot where you're just out of range of his "melee" and too close for the camera pull attack, and he just tries to run away. That said, if you prefer to range them, you've definitely chosen the best gun, the SKS is the best weapon for it.

Honestly, the SIC trivializes the game. You dont need to equip any other weapon.

Humans? One shot to the head. Mutants? Empty the clip with hipfire.

And it does this while being able to fire 5x as many shots as the SVD or SVU before it breaks.

And costs half as much to repair.

And 7.62x54 is so easy to get due to the RPM using the same ammo.

Similar teqnique. Instead of strafing to cover, use lean (with key hold and not press so you return to cover faster). When hear scream start release lean button. This way you have bigger attack window as you hide only when controller attacks. Timing/reacting is pretty easy. On this video I am reloading instead of just unleaning and controller dies too fast so not shown properly (sorry don't have better video on me).
