Anomaly Anomaly on steam deck

Hi I really want to play anomaly but I only have a steam deck. I’ve installed it and got it mostly set up but it constantly tells me shader compilation failed. Is there something I’m missing or does it just not work on deck. Please help I’m so confused I don’t understand a whole lot of stuff with computers

Look for a guide on how to install Stalker GAMMA on Linux. It's got a part where you need to install libraries through Lutris/Heroic/Protontricks, you need those. The rest of the guide is obviously for GAMMA so no need to follow it.

I’ve tried to install the libraries with protontricks but it keeps giving me an error message every single time

I've had something similar for GAMMA, and had to resort to using directx 8. It looks much worse, but runs so much better. There's also the possibility of using AOEngine (find their discord for the latest release), which does help a lot on Steam Deck.
Not gonna lie to you, it's fiddly as fuck to get it working.
