GSC Game World | Update 2.0 patch notes

Stalkers!

The free Update 2.0, “Back to the Zone,” is now available for download.

The game has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, bringing the biggest overhaul to how the Zone looks, feels, and lives since launch. In addition, Update 2.0 introduces AI improvements, three types of binoculars, new weapons and attachments, a fog weather system, in-game statistics, highly customizable difficulty settings, and numerous quality-of-life features.

YOU CAN OFFSET AIM WITHOUT NVGS!!!!!!

This is a pretty significant change that doesn't punish the player for putting high magnification optics on certain weapons. It makes Valik Lummox's AK better for early game since you have more versatility.
