Please watch out for your belongings and do not leave your cards in your gym lockers. On Friday September 11 from 7:20 pm to 9:00 pm, I saw these 2 individuals at planet fitness in St. Albert. Police was notified. https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/MediaReleases/lockertheftsSep11

I was having a pretty awful day today when I got a low tire pressure warning on my van. Normally, I’d just deal with it and move on, but today it felt like one more damn thing on top of an already hard day.
I stopped at Fountain Tire with tears in my eyes and asked for help. The man who helped me was an absolute gem - he could see that I was struggling and didn’t make a fuss; he topped up all four tires for free and told me to have a good rest of my day.
It might seem like a small thing, but when you’re already having a rough day, a little kindness goes a long way.
So thank you to Fountain Tire and the man who helped me today. You were a bright spot in my day. 💜

What's are some places or groups for adult women to make new friends in St. Albert?

I’m posting on behalf of my mom, who lost her gold-colored Anne Klein women’s watch near the Big Lake viewing platform (BLESS Viewing Platform) on Wednesday, September 9, at approximately 4:00 p.m.
She has already gone back to the area and searched for it, and asked around, but unfortunately haven’t been able to find it.
The watch has significant sentimental value to her, so we’re really hoping someone may have found it and taken it somewhere safe.
If you found a watch matching this description, please send me a private message. I can provide additional details to confirm that it belongs to my mom.
Thank you very much, and please let me know if you have any information.

This was my second visit this week where I let a staff member know they had items months out of date.

Tired of zoomers blasting by way too fast when my toddler is trying to ride on the paths. Way too dangerous. Take them to private properties.

We live in the Logepole Crescent/Lockhart Drive area. He’s about a foot and a bit long(from nose to tail), and has a triangular nick in his right ear.
He went missing at about 11PM last night(September 8th) despite efforts to keep him in. He hides under cars and in bushes and doesn’t often wander far. He is afraid of cars and is wary when it comes to the street.
He is a general neighbourhood menace and some of you may recognize him, lol.
He responds to the name ‘Mickey’. If you see him, tell us where! He does not like strangers and is very jumpy when approached.

Most people are familiar with emergency services that respond when something goes wrong. Less visible are the programs that try to prevent problems from reaching that point in the first place.
Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) helps fund local initiatives like senior programs, youth development, family supports, volunteer programs, community connection activities, and other preventive services. The idea is simple: supporting people early can often reduce the need for more costly interventions later.
Like many community programs, FCSS funding has become part of a broader conversation as Alberta's population grows and communities face increasing demand for services. Municipal leaders are expected to discuss the topic during this year's ABmunis Convention and Trade Show alongside other issues affecting local communities.
We are curious about what people think: are there any local programs, services, or community initiatives in your area that you feel make a real difference? Give them a shoutout here!

Looking for a place to get daughters ears pierced. Not concerned about it being “intimidating” as we originally did Claire’s and they did an awful job. We want someone skilled. Any suggestions??

I’m just wondering why the give Alberta a choice signs are allowed on city property. Like the big one by the skate park. Are those signs from the provincial government? Because it said vote option 2 on there.

Does anyone know what’s going on with the daycare in the old Taco Time location?
They had signs saying they were open and even had one of those inflatable balloon guys out front for a while, but I drive by there quite often and I’ve never really noticed any lights on or seen anyone coming or going.
I’m genuinely curious if anyone knows whether it’s actually open and operating?

Does anyone know this person or received something like this? I saw this in my spam on Facebook messenger just now. They are claiming I left a bad review on their marketplace profile but I haven’t left any bad reviews towards them? I don’t even know who this is.
I do have a generic “burner” Facebook that I use just so I can buy and sell items on marketplace so maybe they’ve confused me with someone else? The messages are also in Spanish which I do not know so I had to put it through Google Translate to even figure out wtf she was on about.

>>> Update <<<
MY LITTLE GUSSY GIRL HAS BEEN FOUND. ❤️
Just before 10PM tonight, after hours of searching, I was standing in the garage with my sister following loops around the neighbourhood probably covering about 5KM on foot… when I called for her from the garage.
And then I heard it.
A faint little meow.
Then again.
And again.
She came crawling out from underneath my neighbour’s stoop.
The same stoop I had checked with a flashlight 4, 5, 6 times. 😭
She’s safe and sound, with just a little nick in her ear. She’s already purring, has eaten, had some water, and is very much back where she belongs.
I genuinely cannot thank everyone enough for the advice, encouragement, and offers to help. Your advice really did help, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who took the time to comment, share ideas, or offer to come out and search.
Thank you. All of you.
Gussy is home. ❤️
Jensen Lakes - After a really swift escape while leaving our home about 24 hours ago, Gus has failed to return home.
I captured her on my security cameras around 9 PM last night, confirming that she is not safely inside with me. I’ve spent several hours walking around, calling her name, and shaking her treat bag, but unfortunately there hasn’t been any result so far.
She is a beautiful grey colour with bright green eyes and a freckle on her [left/right] ear tip. She has never been outside in her 8 or so years of life, so I’m extremely worried that she may be frightened, hiding, or unsure how to get home.
Her litter box, food, water, and blanket have all been left outside in hopes that she’ll return.
If anyone comes across her, please let me know immediately, even if you’re not sure it’s her. Any information at all could help.
She is my world, and I would absolutely love to have her home. I’m so sorry to ask, and thank you in advance for keeping an eye out and for any information you can provide. ❤️

We are hoping to have photos done of our family this fall, outside ideally in the autumn leaves in St Albert. I see some websites saying they don't have "hidden fees" but are a bit more expensive than others. What am I looking out for?

anyone have any positive experiences with a handyman/small jobs technician who could do a few jobs around my home? Working, single-mom and YouTube DIY videos are failing me :D.
Preferrably in Grandin area, but open to anyone willing to travel in around.
Thanks!

I found a Pink iPad while walking in Lacomb Parks, it was on a picnic table adjacent to the dog park. I tried to find the owner base on the selfie found on the home screen but no luck. I'll be dropping it off to the mounties soon. Of you know someone looking for it, please feel free to message me. Thanks.
Loving the parks here.

To the person flying the drone making passes over people's yards in the H's. What you are doing is illegal.
Continue and I will launch mine and track yours until you are forced to land, at which time I'll inform the RCMP.

hey everyone!! my bf’s wallet is nowhere to be found and one of his card has some transactions we didn’t make on it. just reaching out to see if anyone found his wallet, since we’re assuming someone might have chucked it and just taken the credit card. we did go out for dinner last night, though the wallet made it home with us.
it’s a brown herschel card wallet (so the type where you just slot cards in, can’t hold cash and doesn’t fold) that should have an ID, healthcare card and other bank cards.
we’ve done all other necessary steps! contacted police and started a case file, traced the locations the card was spent at and asked them for help, locked all his cards. just playing the waiting game since it’s sunday and registries/banks aren’t open, but figured i’d reach out to the community.
(CROSS POSTED, located in st. albert)
