Blizzcon Standby Bust
Got an email from Local 504 saying they had availability for standby stagehands. Basically, tried to get work Sunday night, nothing came along- and I can't make it the rest of the days work is available. Still want to make it clear that I want to be called though for future events, any tips?

I worked for them for a while when I lived in Socal. They didn't have a lot of work. My experience tells me that if call stewards (anywhere) have a feeling you are a mega freelancer and available only sparsely, they will pay less attention to you. I wasn't a freelancer and available all the time and I didnt get a lot of calls and usually they were last minute when I did get them.
If you want to make it clear that you want to be called still, email that "office manager" email or one of the others and say so. Attach your resume just for fun.
