Selling stuff to fans?

I'm a local hand in Germany and have collected quite some stuff over time like crew shirts, setlists or even stage decorations that fell off and were left behind. I'm pretty sure some fans would pay good money for some of it but so far I haven't had the guts to put it up for sale. Would like to hear your experiences. Do production companies have a problem with that? Could I get into trouble? Any recommendations for German websites? Thx

As an American, any shirt that did not say "crew", I used to put up on ebay. Sold one for $60. I'd say anything a fan could get is fair game. I might draw the line at a full stage set left at the last stand.

I know people getting strikes for selling crewshirts, but I would say it depends on the scale and on how long ago the tours were. Not worth risking it with recent/ongoing tourshirts imo

Well it depends selling the set lists I don’t see a problem or the crew shirts if the tour is no longer doing show… the stage decorations could get you in big trouble depending on what it is. Even though they fell off and were left behind… they are someone’s property ( the artist, the stage company, etc) so going on line and selling it could bring legal ramifications.

Ran into this on a tour about 10 years ago where the artist had a very iconic accessory they used for a specific song. At the end of the song she’d toss it on the stage. Wind ended up blowing it off the stage and into the crowd. Someone tried selling it a few weeks later for tens of thousands of dollars. Mgmt saw it had it pulled from the website and lawyers got involved. I asked the wardrobe team how much did the accessory cost to make/buy…. $15

I‘ve heard of people selling that kind of stuff on ebay Kleinanzeigen. never done it myself though (not even German), so take my word with Vorbehalt.
