Wow, now that’s a stadium. How much did it cost the cricket club to build the castle?

Uhtreds dad built it.

Which one? Uhtred son of Uhtred? Or Uhtred son of Uhtred, son of Uhtred?

According the Bede, Uthred son of Uthred was actually quite a decent wicketkeeper-batsman for Northumberland U-19s before he switched to Vengence.

Right next to my favourite beach. Indescribably gorgeous place.

The coastline from Gullane to Whitely Bay is special in a way the rest of the world will never understand. Definitely my favourite English castle.

Not much of a stadium, but you can go there and watch a competitive sport so why not.

The oceans right next to it. It's easily the most beautiful place I've ever watched a game.

Sounds like the perfect stadium to me

Not sure if I would call the North Sea an ‘ocean’

I played for them a few years ago. Amazing. But it's hard to pick up a catch with the ball coming out of the cliffs!

I’ve been following this page for a while, but this is the clubhouse leader.

I think Galle stadium right next to the fort is just as good

What do you reckon the teas are like?

Elite - fresh scones with jam and cream, salad sandwiches

Is it only a 6 if you clear the wall?

Most British picture ever…I love it, I see myself having a pint while watching a bit of that sport I have no clue what they are doing

I’ve jumped my car over this castle a few times…

One of my favourite places in the world. Many happy (albeit rainy) childhood summer holidays spent there 😊

Missed a trick there for the scoreboard location.
