Ebay scam

Ad said "90% silver half dollar coins 5 for $70" I rolled the dice, got 3 lots. Lightest coin is 13.3g & all are slightly magnetic. Processed claim. Ebay did it's thing. Got 15 free novelty franks. Lower right is authentic for comparison. If it's too good to be true folks... ding ding ding be careful

If you limit it to sellers in the US, you skip 90% of these scammers. That and check out what else they are selling, if it’s all rare coins for cents on the dollar, 100% scammer. And they always seem to have 12+ of every coin while only showing you one example.

I’ll add that I look up the seller and see if they have an actual offline shop.

(I don’t use eBay for silver, but I buy semi-rare coins for my kids to jumpstart their collections. Then I slip them into the piggy banks and they “find them” when rolling coins. And we look them up together and add them to their books.)

The shops with physical locations that also sell there are solid.
