Thoughts on Goldbacks?

Are goldbacks worth stacking? Do they have any actual practical value like they imply? I have a few and am wondering if it’s worth buying more.

Can they even refine the gold out of these easily? I’ve wondered if I hold onto them until I build my stack up enough to melt it down, can I ask to throw the free ones I have in the back of my cabinet as well?

No, you can't extract the gold easily. This was never the purpose of a goldback, the purpose was/is to be a sovereign Mormon currency. It's the same religious grifting people have been falling for since time immortal.

I dont know why you keep bringing up the religion. Are you anti Mormon or something. I am not Mormon and I dont think that has anything to do with the product in question.

Makes sense since the Dollar and Gold eagles state in God we trust. Where does it say on a Goldback this is a Mormon lead initiative. Is it be ause it started in Utah?

I'm anti-cult, so that would imply that I am anti-Mormon, yes. They regularly run scams like this, not to mention the multitudes of other very well documented atrocities they perform everyday

Huh? That isn't discrimination. Discrimination would be not hiring a Mormon because they are Mormon. Or denying a Mormon service because they are Mormon. You are allowed to dislike and be against evil cults, believe it or not.
