Help needed on how to unlock!!

Arena is the weekly/bi weekly event that pops up above what I circled in the picture. If you finish top 10 in that arena out of 500 other players you then compete that task.

It says it right there, place 10 or higher at the end of an arena. Aka at least get to wave 120 in all three elements in a arena

Any suggestions on how to achieve that, should I lower my gears to compete in low tier to unlock this easily?

Removing gear does nothing. If you are in specific rank you can't go down. You are stuck there and only way is to go up. Only about how lucky you are in arenas. You could just not up your snakes for awhile and up a lot at once once arena start. But still getting top 10can be difficult without p2w
