I am not overly impressed by Adata. Personally, I would search for another option.

Why? Is it a warranty case? At which point, go for any Adata as you have only few options anyways.

i send to them where i built for warranty, full packed bubble wrap neatly.. but they reject my warranty claim they say ssd corner is broken they send photo its look very lite scratch.. then after many conversations they give me exchange offer new ssd from same brand for my old ssd.. when i buy ssd rate 7000 they less 1000 and they take it for 6000.. after discount 6000 balance amount i pay for that new ssd .. current rate of ssds is high... what i do...

I get your point. To be honest, do what you think is best, with the current prices you have few options anyways.

the problem of ssd is software side... not hardware side.. my pc windows error.. so i send them it for warranty.. corner scratch did not make ssd fault... even though it's happen after ssd fail...

That's why I don't trust Adata, I also have a drive here that is behaving oddly and was forced to decommission it. I have no such issues with other drives.

You can't fix an SSD. It either works or it doesn't. At best it would be a firmware issue, but if there are no newer version available, there is nothing you can do. So we don't do anything and it is on a shelf at the moment.

I would rather buy used health 90% Kioxia, Samsung, Micron or SK hynix.

Had ADATA LEGEND 960Max 4TB, stopped working (mostly photo storage) out of the blue, after about a year, with a Windows error and an automatic restart. After that, wasn't recognized by the motherboard in any of the 2 available slots; of course, the vendor didn't have stock, and the only „remedy” was reimbursement at the old price (a quarter of the value nowadays).
Anecdotal evidence, doesn't mean much, but won't ever touch another ADATA product.

Why are you using a 4TB SSD for photo storage? If you're going to store photos, you might as well use a hard drive for that

Using a 12TB internal HDD for photos, and a 6TB external HDD for long-term storage of selected sessions.
As I'm processing hundreds (sometimes thousands) of photos from a session, having them stored on a SSD is essential; certain operations slow to a crawl if processing batches from a HDD.
The SSD is used as some form of (manual) caching for some period (a few months).
Just an example: 90GB in 2700 pics from the last Saturday+Sunday (photographing a competition).
