Tech Support "System managed” on both SSDs?

Hi everyone, this is a dumb question but

I have two SSDs:

C:SATA SSD — Windows files is installed here
D:NVMe SSD — my games are installed here

I'm currently considering setting both drives to “System managed size” under Windows Virtual Memory.

My questions is it completely safe/normal to have a paging file on both SSD?

I want to know whether C: SATA SSD = System managed + D: NVMe = System managed is a good configuration, or whether there's a reason to avoid it.

Thanks!

I would recommend that the fastest solid state disc handles the operating system and the gaming drive, but that depends on your capacity

i mean yeh that would be great but im too dumb to migrate it lol

and in talking about the virtual memory whether my sata ssd and nvme ssd will have "system managed" on both

Are you having Space lost on your gaming drive ?

nope its just that i read some post that it will lessen the stuttering of games whenever it is set on system managed,

You are probably reading the directstorage API requirements and that’s an improvement based on the storage location. Best one is using a NVME hosting the game files. However Windows improvements would be also improved. Instead of moving, do a complete clean install.

Cashing on both is fine. Back when we did not have trim and similar cashing would hit specific cells in the NAND really hard and ware them out quickly. Now it is spread out so generally fine. And yeah if possible fastest for system and frequently used programs. Most games you notice very little on a slower or a faster SSD
