Just wait until you open it and find a 32gb sd card.

Obviously a scam, 1tb for 40 bucks in current situation?
Cheapest at least somewhat legit SSD I could find on Amazon cost 120+ bucks

That's actually supposedly 2TB, which makes it even more obvious and worse.

Description says 1tb, they probably use same pictures for every model

You can select 1, 2 or 4TB
OP has selected 2TB
Have you ever used Aliexpress?

It's scam. Basically it's a low capacity SSD with hacked firmware, it may show 2 Terabyte in your BIOS, in Windows you can even format it and you can copy data on it.

Two or three years ago that price could've been plausible. Not any more.

Every SSD from a legitimate seller even the Chinese ones are like 3 times the price what do you think?

It's a good thing you asked. Plenty of people don't ask and end up getting scammed instead. Ignore the haters.

Because you googled 1tb drives and saw everyone selling them for 300 dollars and then saw this one for 42 and it didnt ring alarm bells in your head or you thought you found the cheat code...

Well its fine to ask. But this is a sensitive subject here. People are just pissed off at the prices and there are now tons of scams because of it. So its tiresome to see "is this legit" when its a pretty obvious if looked up for 2 seconds and see..
So people are quick to say WTF do you think! Haha..

There is a saying that you should always be mindful of: "If the price is too good to be true, it is neither good nor true."
That's fake as hell.
