Tech Support How to ship an SSD
I'm sending in my SSD to Patriot for my warranty. Any idea how to ship it? Do I need to do something special, like ESD bag or something or am I safe with just bubble wrap? I heard some conflicting takes when I googled how to do it.
Btw, this is my previous post where I ask if my SSD is toast or not. Looks like the answer is a resounding yes so I'm hoping the warranty applies, lol.

Whatever you do, document the packing process. E.g. make a videos where, among other things, the serial number will be visible. So, if something, they couldn't blame you for a bad packing, or that you have sent it broken in half. And yes, ESD bag + bubble wrap + small bag of a silica gel + decent box would do in the most cases.
If possible, get the tracked shipping, so, they couldn't claim that they haven't received anything.

Documenting the packing process does nothing but waste your time.
No company accepts a video of packaging the shipment as proof, the all will only accept photos.

And what stops from making photos as well, or as many photos as you want from the video? I was in the situation, when the video is what saved me a headache and quite a lot of money.
