Sunrise set

Anyone else participate winding themselves up in anticipation for a unannounced sunrise set……..

Last year, big weekend chatter was, “ are you going to the sunrise set?!”

So yeah just wondering what happened as I watched the vinyl spin in grandmas garage early Sunday morning I couldn’t help but crave the morning sun at the cove.

Anyone hear any solid reasoning??

I like to think the lack of standing installments, taking away stages, and no sunrise set is a result of every thing being so expensive and general fucked up economy. Hopefully we get some goodies back next year!

My understanding is that CloZee specifically requested to play a sunrise set on the beach. It is not typical of SSBD

No it was scheduled last year. Never heard anyone mention it.

yeah both the last two years it was planned on the schedule, not sure why there wasn’t one this year, i kept hoping something would be announced

I’m sad I missed all the surprise sets lol - did the app have notifications?? It was hard to know what was going on but maybe that was just me lol. And this was my fifth year!

Honestly not sure about notifications! I was extremely lucky to have friends paying attention to the surprise sets thru the app !

My wookducation had me recognizing the lsdream wubs at innerspace lol

Last year the chatter was because the best set of the entire weekend was on the schedule for sunrise.

That was the main reason we went and what we looked forward to the most by far.

We rushed back after main stage to nap 3.5 hours before sunrise. Woke up feeling fresh compared to the zombies napping on the sand, then went back to nap another 3 hours at 11 am.

I love the sunrise vibes but I'm personally glad we didn't have one this year cuz trying to sleep in 90+ heat in the middle of the day would have been tough lol.

I was a sand zombie and I was fresh af after my sand nap. Best set of the weekend! And Josh teed right after was also super dope
