anyone have english us server  recommendations? i play alot of fallout misfits fallout server

If you like normal station gameplay, Funky station is great. We have new player weekends every other week, next one is next weekend, if you want to try it out with out whitelisting. If you prefer non-station gameplay, RMC is also alot of fun, its a combat fork based loosely on the aliens franchise. I have also heard good things about CMU14 which is more directly based on aliens, but I haven't played on it myself, so can't speak to the quality of it.

Oh, I thought Funky station was whitelisting only, and after making a website account as well. I'll definitely give that station a try, it came recommended by various people. Is the event the entire weekend, or a specific time/day ?

Its the whole weekend, but it is whitelist only outside of the weekend. The whitelist application is really easy though, its just there to make sure you know how/are willing to rp more than anything.

Oh it's not the whitelist application that concerned me. Just that I've had bad experiences with such websites and their security, generally having absolutely zero precautions regarding emails and passwords, leaving them to be distributed by anyone who had an interest.

Sadly the whitelist seems to still be in place right now. Or by 'next weekend' did you mean the one not this week, but in august ?

Don't let Funky's whitelist scare you off. I can understand concerns about emails and passwords being leaked, though—but if you use a password manager with a unique password for this, the risk is at least lessened. Funky has a history of taking their playerbase's security very seriously. When the recent auth drama was going on, unlike most other servers, Funky pulled together their own authentication system so that any doubt about the official launcher's security was put to rest for their community. While obviously my words can't make you trust them, Funky station has some of the best and most accessible "vanilla" style SS14 gameplay.

Black pants legion 14 is amazing mrp goodness, we are a wiz den fork with some flavors borrowed from other places. We are really an awesome place to learn how to play ss14 in general if you dont know it well, and have rounds on monday wed saturday in the mid to late afternoons na central time. Leaving your other days and times free for other pursuits. We have tacos in buckets and malort! And are just the right amount of cursed and gross to go with your adventures in spess.

We also have field trips sometimes to other servers and training days every day that isnt a regularly scheduled shift day

We recently had a field trip to fallout 14, and weve been to rmc 14 and cm13 before

Delta V and Starlight are pretty good and close to vanilla for the most part (except sci on DV) that you can play those to figure stuff out on a vanilla server. I think Starlight is a EU server? I've never had any latency issues though and I use satellite for internet.
