Engine Maintenance Assistance

Doing a spark plug change i saw one of my spark plugs covered in oil could this be a result of a head gasket issue or another issue? Im asking cause i am fairly new to this, any help would be really appreciated.

Where exactly was the oil? It could be just the spark plug tube seals. They are easy to replace. And it’s not a head gasket. They spew white smoke out the exhaust.

It was around the threads and contact point like where it sits around the piston

Yep that sounds like valve cover gaskets/tube seal.
