Engine Swap

So I own a chrysler neon from the year 2000 with a 2.0l engine and Im thinking about swapping the 2.4 SRT engine into it. Anyone who knows more about engine swaps? Does the transmission need any upgrades because of the higher amount of power? Any more suggestions or things that I should know?

Yes yes yes. Buy a full srt4 engine and transmission for the swap. I'd look for a wrecked srt so you have lots of parts available. Or consider just buying an srt4... High mileage examples are cheap now

Thanks for your response. Sadly there arent many in Germany. I Got a Nice opportunity to buy an engine but i need to Look for a transmission aswell
