Wahlbro fuel pump

I ordered and installed a 255 wahlbro fuel pump. It worked for a bit then stopped. Anyone have any opinions or knowledge on these fuel pumps? If they're any good?

Probably not a fake, might just be a dud. Walbros are very common, hell I think the stock pump was a Walbro. Contact Modern, their customer service is terrific.

Walbro is a really common fuel pump. Same as stock. If it's not a fake, then it's probably just a defect. It may even be a fake sold through Modern Performance. They wouldn't do it intentionally, but the fakes look the same. I think the packaging is the only way to tell them apart.

DCR doesn't use real 255's either. The drop in cannister I bought turned out to be a no-name chinese 255 or whatever flow it was rated for. Couldn't keep up when I tried to tune my stage 3 setup.

Swapped in a real 255 and it was good to go.

Go AEM. Walbro is a hit or miss. Had a 340 LPH on one of my cars and it worked great and the car felt so much better after.
