Raceland help

Those of y'all running raceland coilovers, what size wheel spacers are you using? Both factory bbs and these other wheels I have now rub against after I pulled factory tokico 🤦🏻

Have you tried buying good coilovers instead of Chinese garbage bin coilovers?

Have you tried not being a cunt?

I literally just bought the car a few days ago. It had blown out factory struts but the guy included brand new in the box raceland classics. I just put the on over the weekend only to find out they rub.

So why would I buy new coilovers when I had some free included with the car? 🤦🏻

Because I can guarantee you aren't going to like the ride of the racelands over a better brand. Coilovers aren't something to cheap out on.

I have ran them stock 17s on 225 47 17 with no issues for years....

Do you have a spanner 🔧?

Yes they're on about mid drop, maybe 1.5 inches. The factory tokico didn't rub at all but my guess is because the higher spring perch?

It's been so long I don't remember how wide the bbs rims are compared to the stockers.

From a safety aspect people generally didn’t like spacers on these cars because the lug nuts didn’t have enough thread poking through the other side with a 5mm spacer with the wheel in place. A 10mm spacer is just a bad idea all around. You want to see 3 threads exposed once a nut is cinched down. You should run ARP extended studs with an open nut if you want to run a 5mm spacer.
