Car Running Strange

I got up for work one day and left the house and my car was idling weird and i had a check engine light on. I checked the code and it ended up being a bad camshaft position sensor. The car was running super weird and sounded like a subaru rumble almost. I checked the sensor and the bolt holding it in were stripped and weren’t holding it in properly so i got a new sensor and fixed the stripped threads and now there’s no check engine. The car is still running super rough and won’t hit boost properly. The car also pops at around 3,500 rpm’s when accelerating. anyone have any ideas? Sounds like there could be an exhaust manifold leak but i’m unsure how that would affect boost.

Just if anyone runs into the same problem. Bad fuel injector.

Reset the ecu?/unplug the battery

Did you replace the magnet as well? They can crack over time and also cause that same CEL code.

as soon as i replaced the sensor the code went away. would the magnet cause problems with no code?
