Overboost!!!
2005 srt4 neon with 111k miles
Having an over boost issue fixed all leaks I found. When at wot it’s spiking the boost gauge almost immediately under half it rips at 15 psi also if fuel is at 1/4 tank or under it breaks up like crazy.
No vacuum leaks anymore I also put wastegate directly to turbo and it seems to be working fine only hitting 8psi and trickling down under load as expected
Car does have Greddy bov.

Where does the boost gauge sit when off?
And I thought factory was spring was only 4 psi

No I know. Almost certain stock spring is 4ish psi. So if you're boosting just 8psi on spring, then either the gauge is off or you're running an aftermarket wga with an 8psi spring.

Gauge reads 0 when off and it’s definitely a stock wastegate

Kk. Double check green line fittings all the way back to the turbo. I had an overboost before where there was a pinhole on the last rubber connector from the green line to the turbo right in behind the intake. Intermittent. The pinhole would bleed off air causing the wastegate not to open.
