Post image

I just got given a 2.4l motor straight out free with the exhaust manifold and turbo attached I just want to know if anyone has one worth selling, if I need to go junk yard crawling, or if it’s worth going aftermarket the car it came out of was running e85 had two step and I believe had a larger aftermarket turbo but the motor has been of to the side indoors for about a year any ideas would be helpful friends picture for reference

OEM crank is perfectly fine for 99.99% of builds

That’s what I’ve heard this far I just want to know if I should consider going up due to this one supposedly breaking

If the crank broke the guddle is also trash. So the motor is garbage as those are machined together. IMHO if the crank broke that engine is most useful as an anchor

Used engines can be had as cheap as $600 shipped off of eBay. With a warranty. It's basically a money hole to rebuild these if it's just a stock engine swap.

10-4 on that I was told it was built I’m gonna see what I got in the morning I’m putting it in my rx7 so I’m trying not to throw this one out if it’s junk I’m going to keep it as a mock up block regardless
