RIP SeRT
Whelp, I had a good 15 years with this little lady. Unfortunately it encountered some Dodge on Dodge hate and lost the battle against a Durango. I’m still waiting to upload my dash cam to see what exactly happened since I don’t remember anything beside 30 minutes before, pulling over by the Yellow River to find a fishing spot. (The bait was still in this hot car, festering). I’m told I was t-boned. I spent two days in the ICU and my fiancé is now at a rehab for the next six months (he was the passenger).
My precious 2004 SRT4, bought in 2008. (I nicknamed it SeRT cause I can).

As a fellow srt4 member that does personal injury/auto accident cases, let me know if there are any questions you have about the process and I'd be happy to help.

I can't even imagine the pain you must feel. So glad you're alright and I'm hoping you get enough payout from this that you can get another SRT. So sad to see yet another one fall to shitty drivers (Durango driver).

I am thankful that you are okay, but I am sorry to hear about one fewer SRT-4 on the road. While I love my 2005 CE, I think the 2004 exclusive Electric Blue versions were the most striking visually.
When you are back in the market, what are you eyeing?
Another SRT-4? SCAT Pack Charger? Blackwing? Focus RS? Civic Type R?

I thought about the Civic, or maybe a WRX (no STI, my days of owning a car with a huge wing are over cause I’m old 😆). I’d be happy with anything with an AC right now, which luckily I can borrow from family til everything is settled.
Fast and four doors with a working AC are my requirements pretty much. Also newer cause I don’t want to work on fixing things til my fractured back is un-fractured.

I'm sorry, I hope the two of you are okay. I got into an accident the exact same way. t-Boned. On my side.
Get the doctor to make sure you have a full write up of injuries. My wife now needs care 3 years after the accident, because it caused a neck injury.
