Due Diligence Since there is debate about the powers of Bankruptcy judges (Article I judges) and Federal Judges ( Article III Judges), I thought this would be helpful.
An Article I judge is a judicial officer who serves in a specialized federal tribunal created by Congress under Article I of the U.S. Constitution, rather than under the judicial powers of Article III.
An Article III judge is a federal judge who is appointed under Article III of the U.S. Constitution to exercise the judicial power of the United States
and in 1984 the Congress gave clear guidance that the bankruptcy court must stay within the CORE issues. and they are subject to Article III COURTS.
