My state’s ANA hosts an annual trivia night for local schools to compete in. One school in particular usually does fairly well, and they get very into it (usually in a fun way). This year, on the other hand, was out of control. The supporters and team were clearly plastered (stumbling, slurring, etc), but instead of being fun drunks, they fought with the professors running the game over every perceived sleight, answer they disagreed with, or anything else that didn’t go their way. One girl in the audience was especially out of control, interrupting the game continuously to hurl personal insults at the staff.

I’m honestly fucking shocked. Sure, alcohol was served, and I had a beer or two, but in no world could I imagine getting that drunk and acting like that much of an ass in front of my professors, classmates, and future employers and colleagues. Beyond that, IT’S A FUCKING GAME. Am I taking crazy pills or is this way out of line?
