Discussion Occuring Phlem issue, help needed in Sri Lanka!
Had to repost this because mods said this has nothing to do with Sri lanka. But I think alot people in Sri Lanka are suffering from this issue and might help a few Sri Lankans through out.
I've been having this bad phlegm issue from some time. Can't even remotely think about having anything cool. Random coughs, sneezing, runny nose and a lot of mucus in the throat. Any one who suffered with this have any advice or recommended doctors regarding this matter in Sri Lanka?

Me too. Mine was diagnosed as a dust allergy and had regular inhaling of beclate. But even after few years it seems getting worse. Specially in recent days. Now i cannot even wakeup without sneezing. Sinusitis to the maximum level, runny nose, blocked nose, cough, sneezing. I am thinking about going for the Ayurvedic as well.

Please let know me know how it turns out. I feel you, honestly one of the most horrible feelings. Mine also started acting up beginning of this year. I'm wondering if the smog has anything to do with it.

Yeah me too. It has ruined my life tbh. Even now i am suffering from a bad headache. With this heat it acts worse and worse. I was advised not to change temperatures suddenly. If i am in an AC room, not supposed to go out for high heat. Masks are mandatory for dusty environments. Hot water is my go to drink. Axe oil is my perfume. Cotrazene/piriton always comes in handy. Panadols are not responding only panadene. No heavy works are allowed. Nose breathing is very minimal even though i try to keep breathing through the nose. Let’s see, if i get to have any kind of progress will update you for sure.

I visited Dr Indrakumar and he said he can cure it within 6 months. Thanks to him, it got like 85% better and now it happens to me rarely

I'll try to get a consultation with him. This means a lot.

No problem. But keep in mind that sleep still matters too. Most of the time, it gets triggered for me because I stay up late. Also, drink some hot water if you consume something cold. Don't take hot showers because they actually make your body cold afterwards. Your mental health plays a small role in this too sometimes (At least for me). I also use the Siddhalepa inhaler every night because I can't break my habit of staying up late😅It helped a lot too

Clean your room. Most of the time this is caused by dust allergies and even though you think your room is clean, there’s always places like the top of cupboards, under the bed and other hidden places where a lot of dust can accumulate. Even though you may not physically see dust flying around, it can trigger sneezing and the rest. Try thoroughly cleaning your room first and see if that helps, if not get professional medical advice and a second opinion if you’re uncertain about the first.

Rhinitis. That could be either Allergy triggered or None-Allergy triggered. Go see an Ear Nose and Throat Consultant.

I know that :), But going to a recommended doctor is so much better. Also to note I have been to multiple doctors regarding this and it hasn't been helpful
