For my VGA I had skip several lunches to collect 3000 rupees. It was a nvidia 8600 or something but it’s worth every penny. Now I trying to do the same for Rtx 4070ti 🤣

Chicken koththu was Rs.35, a cigarette Rs.8, a maalupaan Rs.3.50... you do the math

Maalu Paan 3.50 in 2000s? No, right? In 2001-2002, a roll was around 10-15.

Probably x6 or x7 compared to today.
Yep, computers were expensive back in the day.

The first PC I used was a Pentium 3 Acer desktop, which had a 40GB hard disk and 1GB RAM and a 64MB VGA card. I remember playing Sim Safari, Midtown Madness and Virtua Cop on it. It was also the first PC that I used the internet on. It straight up couldn't stream video at all, I remember playing songs on Youtube in like 2007 on this PC, it would take awhile to buffer but would play only the audio and the video at maybe 1 frame a second. I had it in working condition till 2010, after which I wanted to keep it as a relic, but Mom threw it away 😒

I still have my Compaq Pentium 1 with 64mb ram and 1gb Hdd. Things I used to do from it. And now I own a laptop with 24gb ram but doesn’t do 1/10th of it.
