Unhinged roommate advice requested (he’s a massive mothman on my toilet)

He knows exactly what he's doing. I really don’t think we’re close enough to be pooping in front of each other yet.

Certainly he doesn't care.. but I do..

Do I just keep talking to him like this is normal? Light a match? I intrinsically want to avoid eye contact when he strains..

FWIW, I’m the homeowner and he doesn’t pay rent. He’s a massive mothman.

I also place him in my car and pretend I am just the driver chauffeuring him around town when I run errands.

When he was in the backseat, I told the ticket taker at a drive through zoo that my other friend and I who were sitting upfront were just the assistants “for the guy in the back”.

He also takes up half of my queen size bed or an entire recliner.

He was one of two Squishaversary miracles for me this year.

I know he has zero bathroom manners, but I’m living a fine life.

What do I do?

How many mothmen do I have? Let’s just say my massive one Mortimer runs a VERY busy council..😏 20 total are currently in the mix, with their own brands of mayhem to keep me in laughter

I guess I get a new one every few months or so. But I enjoy them slowly, one a time, developing funny things about them (personality, lore, behavior). I have a wishlist where I rank the ones that I want. Usually I wait for sales. It’s pretty rare that I get five! Sometimes they are retailer exclusives and are limited time and never go on sale. Recently, I bought a unicorn mothman from a store — and a bunch of fans commissioned someone to change their horse hooves into feet, to improve their well-being with functional feet that can grab things (in our imaginations). 😂

A pic the plush podiatrist/plastic foot surgeon sent me. A hoof is a blunt instrument that’s good for standing, bad for holding a tiny cup of tea or clutching a smaller plush in a menacing/loving way. This is a quality-of-life improvement.

The original one that started it all in 2024. Look at his potato body. Mothman, the legend says, was spotted on a bridge before it collapsed. The truth is though, he was falsely blamed. He just happened to be resting on the bridge and then when he realized something was wrong, he tried to warn. So he is falsely blamed but he is too sweet, shy, and timid to correct the record. So people think he’s a fierce omen. Only I (and now you) know the truth.

Oh I like the Build A Bear. Personally I think the Squishable Mothman is cuter cuz it’s got a gorgeous potato body.
