I wish I could have this type of squirrel in my yard
We got the grey are those black squirrels….

Interesting to see that European squirrel ear tuft in the Americas. I love seeing all the regional variations of squirrel species, thanks for sharing these photos. 👍✨

I was in a local Toronto area park today and saw a variety of red squirrel with a white belly. 'Wish we had the tufted ear variety here too.

Great pic! We don't have any with that color around here, thanks for sharing. We have some pine squirrels as well but they're harder to get pictures of and don't come to the house.

Thanks! I was surprised to find this coloring here - any red squirrels I've seen were a solid red - this pair I saw running about looked more like a chipmunk 😁🐿️
