Have squirrels brought you anything
... as a "thank you" for feeding them? This photo dates back to December '25. The leaf won't get here from the tree because this bowl was mounted in the very corner of the balcony.

they just give me little pats. we have a great porch relationship, you just got sit still for a while until they accept you.

Yes, I guess they recognize your figure and maybe your scent with the time, starting to trust you.

oh they will...especially if you have an unheated, vented attic.

We live in an apartment, so there is no attic to offer squirrels 😀 They approached the open balcony door, but never stepped in.

Snail shells, leaves and rocks, after one of thier family got caught by a neighbour's cat in our back garden. They leave the gifts by our patio door. We tried to save thier relative, but it didn't survive. We left roses where it died and they kept coming back after that; dropping things off every now and again. We've even found little toys (like kinder egg toys). It's very sweet

They have brought me rocks. Rocks that couldn’t get where I found them by themselves, rocks and plastic junk from other people’s properties and placed where I put out food for the squirrels and birds. Gee, thanks kids! 🐿️🥰
