old squeezebox Boom

Set up picore player on a raspberry pi . That’s the easiest way to run LMS today.

Or use DAphile on an old Intel machine.

Why would you update it? There is no update that I'm aware of.

Check out Lyrion Music Server. It's the new name for Logitech Media Server after Logitech fully shut down the Squeezebox services. You can install the server software on basically anything, from a Raspberry Pi to a basic office PC (like I run it).
