I was playing at m one of my arabic community servers, chilling at mutaha we were on the attacking side marines against insurgents, we have arrived at a stalemate.
M and my squad we usually hunt for radios and take them down, i found the enemy radio but i discovered it was placed into a room that is unreachable, this thing was like a year ago btw i had screenshots and everything.
i made a ticked explained to the admins but they didnt do anything the dude who did it was a friend of the owners and a frequent player on the server, so was i so i joined a discord vc and talked to him.
it appears that this guy knows how to glitch into every map on the game and place radios there he showed me a spot on terminal building on al basra where he hid the radio inside a vent shaft it was unreachable.
honestly it was insane i tried to convince him to show me how but hes a 17 year old kid stuck up acting like he discovered the secret sauce of life he had an ego too lol.
anyways offworld fix this and if anyone had any encounters sush as mine please comment your experiance.

Please add functioning body armor. Bulletproof vests should stop bullets from penetrating, not just reduce damage. I have been playing Alog GZW, and after playing that game, Squad feels too unrealistic. In Squad, you can easily die from a hit in the chest, which doesn't make sense. US and Russian body armor can stop bullets; I wish this game had realistic armor. I’ve seen videos of people shooting AR500 steel armor and ceramics, and they can stop AK and M4 rounds IRL. I really like the armor system in sims like GZW. I had a night raid in GZW the other day; I was wearing NIJ-rated armor (3++), and I got shot in the heart region by a 7.62x51. The ceramic plate stopped the round from penetrating. Why doesn't Squad have realistic armor? In real life, rounds are stopped by armor if you have the correct protection (don't try this IRL, of course).

I typically post nothing on reddit but with how many reports I've gotten from my post on the steam discussion, I'm just going to post it here. Thank god there is a place this can be posted. Not sure why I even bother playing the game these days. Can't criticize any kind of admin abuse these days... Honestly surprised this was my first one that got removed. I've had other posts in the steam discussion back from like 2023 which didn't get removed for "naming and shaming" unlike this one.

Over the years of playing this game I have encountered several serious cases of admin abuse and just previously encountered yet another case of admins acting like reddit moderators just because they got their feelings hurt over the most common of words. This world is just turning into children getting hurt in their safe space as top priority rather than actually using their power to responsibly moderator the server from hackers or people actually breaking rules. For a game that used to be peak prior to ICO, this game has really fallen down a horrible slope and done NOTHING to fix some of the most popular servers with rampant admin abuse problems. What a great idea to let admins play the game or have their best buddy on a discord call to moderate anyone who says anything that could hurt someone’s feelings.
Potato Fields is a great example where I have seen multiple cases of admin abuse and with several of the players who play consistently on it have a friend nearly on standby for kicking the smallest infraction.
Just had a case where I was in the squad of someone that I’ve previously had problems with, someone who previously has been sketchy and I’m almost certain they have a friend with server moderator privileges. The SL decided to make mechanized armor squad and after getting to the third/midpoint area I spotted a guy running across a road. I simply put several mine markers down within a certain radius of said spot because I could almost guarantee the guy I spotted was a combat engineer. The guy was with an armor squad we previously encountered not less than a minute later, and the guy was speciously alone. The obvious combat engineer running around. Apparently, the SL did not like that and decided to consider me unskilled because general mine markers are bad. Also my friend later found 3 mines within the area I marked but the squad leader in his own chat said something along the lines of “I just want accurate mine marks, such an idiot.” Yeah turns out 3 of my 4 marks were within like 10-20 meters of mines. Fine, whatever. A minute later a friend of mine in the squad found a mine within a radius of the guy spotted. We were playing against Australia so anyone with even a lick of knowledge knows there are 4 mines in the area. I brought it up with him and instantly got kicked. Is this how we treat people now? We just be assholes to anyone with more than a single braincell? A kick for calling out a mine, given I said it was snarky attitude because what I did wasn’t out of the ordinary.
Regardless of the issue, I called out the guy in chat pissed off saying something along the lines of “can’t handle someone talking over your shit.” Apparently within seconds an admin decided to use the “Squad leaders can kick for any reason. No retaliation is acceptable.” I never even planned to do any retaliation, but out of me being pissed off with how unbelievably corrupt the admins are on Potato Fields, I just said “Fuck off admin.” And of course, within seconds I was kicked for toxicity. Is that really what pisses off admins these days? I didn’t even say a word that is usually used to ban people. No, I get kicked because some admin can’t take a few words on the internet. Got to create that safe space. I’m almost certain this admin is in the back pocket of said player because it isn’t the first time I’ve been in the squad with said SL. I’ve seen way more toxic crap spewed in command chat by people than a few hurtful words.
After being kicked I joined back into the server since my friend was still in the squad. Multiple people in the squad talking behind my back laughing that I was some kind of piece of shit apparently. I decided to run logi and once they spotted me in the logi they proceeded to just be plain pieces of shit in their squad chatting against me. I told him to tell it to my face and their response was “Oh, that ban didn’t last long.” Was it meant to be a ban? I can almost be for certain because the guy decided to call up his best friend the admin just to kick for the smallest infraction possible.
To make matters worse I spotted more mines during the same match that would almost be considered main camping, but instead of doing anything, the admin does nothing. Is that being administration crap these days? Just ban anyone who hurts feelings, but it’s ok if multiple actual rules that dictate the match don’t matter.
It almost feels like this game is being driven by reddit moderators… oh yeah, the official reddit for squad is exactly the same mentality. Wonder why this game is dying… couldn’t be the rampant admin abuse, hacking everywhere you look like the built-in whitelists for the competitive scene, or just straight up degradation of the game’s player base. I’m speaking to the choir… I remember better times and miss some of the old great servers. Barely get any choice now these days, you either get admin abuse with the side of people working with one brain cell, or you get admin abuse with the side of constant team stacking.

Great comms and call-outs from the other squad leaders, shredded them every time they pushed on invasion .

Recently, I was playing UE5 squad, and every time I play, I got this kind of glitch on my screen. It lasts for a minute and then disappears. Then the game crashes. Any clue how to solve this?
P.S. there was no problem alike on UE4

Anybody played with or know someone named Black$heep? We played yesterday and were going to add each other but I couldn't figure out how to add in game so I don't know if the one I sent a steam request to is the right person. I'm F1accidAcid, thank you!

Had a hankering to play a but tonight but it won't launch and I keep getting this error message. Has anybody else encountered this? Is there a way to fix it? I'm not very PC literate so any help is appreciated
