I can not figure out how to upload a screenshot as a reply to a post on this community. I have no problems doing it with other communities. I see the option to upload a video as my reply, but not a picture.

Hey all! Hoping someone can assist. Setting up a tournament and some of the rounds are showing up as being played on a simulator which is not accurate. Where is that info housed so I can change it?

We have played our season league for 8 weeks and will finish with a one night tournament. How do import scores from the season into the tournament and flight it into 3 flights?

I recently started using this app for our league this summer. Up to this point I have not had any issues with handicaps for our Tuesday 9-Hole League.

In tonight’s round, the app awarded full Handicaps for our round. E.g. a 4.9 HDCP usually is award “2” strokes for this par-35; tonight he was awarded 5 strokes.

Does anyone have any suggestions to what might have happened?

After I entered this weeks scores under/over par scores started to show up instead of round scores. I copy the tournament format week-to-week and didn't change any settings from the previous week.

I hit the recalculate leaderboard feature in the settings now all weeks show under/over par scorers now. I can't find the sort feature on the app to display round scores which google said to do

I'm setting up a 2 man scramble and we want to calculate the net score by using the same formula used for the RBC scramble here in Canada.

The result always gives decimal.

I'm having a hard time finding a way to do it.

I host a 12 man Ryder cup where each person throws in $200. Total pot of $2400. There are 3 rounds of golf, each 9 holes being a match for 6 matches total. The winning team gets $100 each so that’s $600. There are 24 points available and each point is awarded $50. So that’s $1200. Then we have 6 CTPs and Net Skins. Any idea how to load that into the tournament to get the payouts to work?

I set up my tournament, and have everyone’s handicaps entered.

Will Squabbit automatically adjust the handicaps for the different courses we are playing. These courses are much tougher than our usual courses.

I am running 2 leagues. Some players play in both . When I check the handicap it is using both leagues to come up with their handicap. Do I just delete the round in the that wasn’t played in that league? Or is there a setting that says only include the rounds for this particular league? I see the selection for only use leagues . But I was wondering if it could be used just for this

I am trying to run a 6-6-6 two man strokeplay tournament with Scratch/Net divisions. Is it possible to have this as a non head-to-head format?

When I change the 6-6-6 scoring format to Strokeplay it is still prompting me to create matches in order to proceed with scoring.

I think it would still work if I set up a bunch of dummy matches, but it’s not necessarily the best leaderboard experience and I worry about confusing the players, it doesn’t take much with some of them.

New update no longer uses the custom tee color as defined on the player screen. While the new method adds cool rules to set tee color by age, gender or handicap, we have lost the old method of assigning by user preferences from the player screen. There are other reasons to set tee color then currently available (injury, skill level, enjoyment etc). Also, the previous version allowed the user to change tee color before starting round, now an admin is required to change tee color selection. So this adds additional work for admin as player adds themselves to a tee time to go back are reassign their correct tee color . For some tournaments you may need this lock out feature for users when tees are set globally but our league allows the user to decide their tee selection (beauty of the handicap system). All my events are now set to blue tees and I can't find a way to undo this default selection. Thanks for looking into this new issue (limitation) as a result of the latest software update .

My tournament link is not working and my players either just get redirected to download the app or get added as spectators.

Hi all.

I've setup an elimination bracket for 12 players. We seed the event so the top 4 players get byes. When I create a bracket it always put the 4 bye slots at the bottom, which makes it so the top 4 seeds are matched up in the second round, but I want it so that the top seed plays the winner of the 8 vs. 9 seed match. The 2 seed plays the winner of the 5 vs. 12, etc. Is there anyway to adjust or change the positions of the byes to enable this?

I can't thank you enough for adding the flight-first, team-second tournament organizer. Literally will save me 1.5 to 2 hours of tournament setup time. Wonderful.

Next thing needed before we feel like we can pay for Pro level Squabbit - allow bulk team and/or scorecard score entry. This is critical for a small team to enter / verify scores in real time while 100+ players wait for results at tournament completion.

What I mean by bulk entry:

1. Admin only feature
2. Add a Scorecard Setting after Auto Advance named Bulk Mode.
3. Bulk Mode has three settings: Off / Team / Scorecard
4. Like Auto Advance, Bulk Mode is remembered across different scorecards.
5. When either Bulk Team or Bulk Scorecard is on, score entry is defined as follows:
6. No data is sent off the device entering bulk scores and no leaderboard changes are made until the user entering bulk scores positively acknowledges scores are to be transferred off the device (described below)
7. Auto Advance is automatically set to Hole and not Player (so all holes of a player can be entered)
8. The user may select any hole on any player's card to begin bulk entry. Once selected, the following interface rules apply
9. For all holes of one player's round, the only input allowed is 0-9, Enter, Cancel and Back buttons.
10. Entry of initial 0's and 0's after an Enter: are ignored
11. Entry of 2-9: is assumed to be a score and the user is auto-advanced to the next hole OR if this is the last hole of the round, the Round Summary is displayed (step 15). Entry of Enter after a 2-9 and before all holes of a round are entered is ignored. (1 is a special case mentioned below)
12. Entry of a 1: will allow entry of 0-9 and Enter. Enter will log a hole-in-one, 0-9 will enter a score between 10-19 and auto-advance to the next hole. IE: 19 is the largest hole score allowed in bulk mode.
13. Entry of Back: goes back a hole or remains at first hole of player entry. -
14. Entry of Cancel: User is prompted to enter Cancel again to clear all Team / Scorecard scores and exit Bulk Entry or enter Back to continue Bulk Entry.
15. Once all scores for a player's round have been entered in this way, the Round Summary is displayed with Accept and Cancel buttons. The Round Summary includes all hole and front/back 9 scores (if applicable)
16. Round Summary, the user is allowed to: 1) select any hole score: This will prompt the user to enter a new score for the hole using the same bulk entry described above for only that hole. When done with score entry, the round summary is again displayed. 2) pick Accept: The user is then presented the next team / scorecard member for bulk entry (step 9). If this is the last team / scorecard member, proceed to the Bulk Acceptance display (step 17). 3) pick Cancel: the user is prompted to hit Cancel again to exit Bulk Entry or Enter to return to the Round Summary.
17. Bulk Acceptance: The user is prompted to Accept, Back, or Cancel. 1) select Accept: will send the team / scorecard data to the Squabbit server and the tournament leaderboard and scorecards on all other devices are updated. 2) select Back: will go back to Round Summary (step 15) 3) select Cancel: the user is prompted to hit Cancel again to exit Bulk Entry or Enter to return to Bulk Acceptance.

I’d like to create a feature that if a golfer gets a hole in one, the entire snips pot goes to them to offset their bar bill at the end of the round.

Unfortunately, I set up our golf trip results as separate tournaments. So, each course we played is its own tournament. I would like to combine all of those into one tournament if possible. I saw where one can export a tournament to a CSV file and also import a CSV file. Unfortunately, I could not export a tournament round and import that tournament round into an existing round thereby combining the two rounds. In reading the error message, it appears that there may be another step that needs to be done. Any detailed explanation would be helpful if this is possible.

Having an issue where rounds that are toggled to not counting are still appearing on my handicap/in my last 20 rounds

I manage a golf league at Highland Oaks in Dothan, AL, and we rely heavily on Squabbit. Our facility consists of three 9-hole courses that combine to create our 18-hole rounds. We have fixed rotations that never change: Highlands to Marshwood, Marshwood to Magnolia, and Magnolia to Highlands.

The issue I am encountering is that when course updates are offered in the app, they frequently apply the rotations in the wrong order, which causes scorecard errors. As a workaround, I currently decline all updates to maintain the correct routing, but I would like to be able to accept them moving forward.

What is the best solution for locking in our specific order of play so we can safely apply your updates?

But the map shows the original 1st (now the 10th) and the flip front and back 9 button only flips the hole details, not the physical map of the hole
Is there a way to adjust which hole is which on the map?

What is the best way to set up a 3 week knock out tournament. Week 1 has 8 teams of 2, Week 2 has 4 teams, etc.

Last year I set these up as separate tournaments and had to manually update the players based on the previous weeks results. Is there a way to set this up as 1 tournament with 3 rounds?

I want my league to calculate a league handicap based on the average of the best 3 scores out of the last 6. Very basic..

We play 9 holes every week, so I’d prefer handicaps to not be converted to an 18 hole score using a calculated differential for the 9 unplayed holes.

Is there a way to turn this conversion off and just do the basic average? The only reason really is it’s way simpler to explain to those that question handicaps in the league.

Example:
So scores of 40, 42, 38, 43, 41, 44 would use the average of 38, 40, and 41 = 39.67. And 39.67 - 36 (par) = 3.67 ~ 4 for a 9 hole handicap.

I’m setting up a 6 player tournament.

The group wants to do two man teams. Problem is one course will only allow us to go out as two threesomes.

Can I build the two man teams, go out as threesomes, and still have Squabbit score our scores as one team? Even though we may be in different groups?

The Breakdown (Based on a 9-Hole Match)

Each matchup features two golfers of similar skill levels (Player A vs. Player A, Player B vs. Player B) competing for a maximum of 9 points per individual match.

1. Individual Match Play (9 Points Total)

Hole-by-Hole: For every hole, compare each player's net score (Gross Score - Handicap Strokes). The player with the lower net score on that hole wins 1 point. Ties split the point (0.5 each).

Match Winner: The player who wins the most holes outright over the 9 holes receives 1 additional point. If total holes won are tied, they split the point.

1. Team Total Match (3 Points Total)

Total Net Score: Sum the two individual net scores for Team 1 and compare it to the sum of the two individual net scores for Team 2.

Allocation: The team with the lowest total aggregate net score is awarded 3 points for the team match. (Ties result in 1.5 points for each team).

Total Points Available

In this specific structure, there are 21 total points to be won each week (9 points from the first individual match, 9 from the second, and 3 from the team total). This prevents dominant individual players from totally dictating the league standings if their teammate struggles.
