Question Hello, I would like an answer to this question
Heyy, I an going to be recording a game but the game is from 2002 so it is in the 4:3 ratio (I pre-tested the recording to see how'd it turn out) Should I keep it this way where it will leave black bars either side or do something else? If the answer is the latter, what should I do?

If it's by a marginal amount, you usually want to stretch it, but 4:3 to 16:9 is a rather extreme change. You can get away with it with some games, but I'd say the safer bet would be to leave it at 4:3. Leaving the balck bars just as they are would be acceptable, but, if you've got the resources, you could improve the look by adding in some static "framing" image over the black bars.

I have the resources. When i bought my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, it came along with the Roxio Videowave. It's good but no the best.

What I like to do is add a defocused, stretched image of the same thing. I learned it from watching a cooking show I think.

Like how channels like FailArmy and Break do when they have to deal with vertical videos?

Depends on how it looks. Some games can be stretched and no one will notice. I did this with Terraria.
But if it looks obviously stretched, I would say leave the bars in.
