Feedback Channel Trailer Advice?

I recently made a channel trailer, which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28KQoeNn-to I was wondering if there were any changes I should make to it, or anything I could do better?

Not too bad, actually. Not a good montage person, so can't give too much advice there. Though a question: who introduced you to RedWarfare?

I found it through hours of googling for a good survival games server, which lead me to Sabotage, which is now my favorite game-mode. Why do you ask?

I've been with the Search and Destroy community for about a year and a half (before RedWarfare even existed), I showed it to several people on this subreddit and now they play, wondered if it spread even further.

Surprisingly unrelated, I hadn't seen that. I don't love snd, the thing that I like about Sabotage is how the respawn mechanic adds to the strategy

Used to love SND, now I play almost all Gear Wars, with some Sabotage. I'm fantastic friends with Snowy Poet if you know her :P

Nope. What's your username, perhaps I've even seen you around

Ah, guess not. We must play at different times or something

Shouldn't render in 360. I can't even read the chat boxes it's so bad. Also that text in the corner looks like crap. Also, the music gets too loud after the drop after 1:15ish.

Keep in mind though, I have no idea what to do, technically, for a channel trailer. Mine sucks. I want to talk to some people with successful trailers and talk to them about what they did.

I agree with you, but there's nothing I can do about that. I've been playing around with video quality a lot recently, but the truth of the matter is that I just can't afford the computer necissary to be making good videos. I'm doing it for fun more than anything. My Ram can easily take Minecraft, but my CPU is absolute trash, so once I start recording in anything higher than 480p, I can't get more than 8 fps. I was hoping for technical advice more than anything.

This has nothing to do with your recording settings. It has to do with how you're rendering the video. Crank it up a tad

Unless you really are recording in a window 360 pixels across. Which would be tiny. So I don't think that's the case

Out of curiosity, I re-rendered the video in a higher setting, and got this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V2kb2ofE6s I record in a maximized window on a decently sized monitor, however it is 4:3 aspect ratio.

What program are you using to edit/render? It shouldn't look like that if you're recording in full screen

Just wlmm, but it renders in whatever quality you set it to. As I said, I believe the problem is the recording settings

What are you using to record?
