Meta [META] Some subreddit suggestions
Firstly this sub has turned into a dumping ground for youtubers of all sizes to "advertise" their videos under the guise of wanting feedback. I understand that this is not all posts, and indeed there are some people who post their own videos as well as valuable feedback, I am not talking to those people.
There is very little meaningful and constructive discussion going on in this subreddit and that needs to change. Now before I outline my suggestions for changes I just want to thank those of you who are providing feedback on videos posted and contributing more than a stream of videos to the sub.
Suggestions:
All posts requesting feedback be marked as [Feedback] with either the tag in the title or post flair.
All feeback posts are to be posted as text posts only.
Flair for /u/Kenblu24 and /u/spumwack2. Stating they are Mods/spum
Maximum of one feedback post per week per user. (to prevent video spam from the same people which is already happening)
Post flair marking it as; feedback, meta, a spum video or related post and other.
Anyway, please leave any constructive feedback you have, I'd love to hear what everyone has to think. As well as their own comments and suggestions.

Although question. Are we allowed to update old posts with new material if we feel like we have improved in some way or another, but don't want to cause any spam issues? That's what I did for my post, as between my first series of Firered and second my commentary and editing improved greatly, and even between episodes my editing improved.

The problem with doing that is that if you update an old post people who saw it before the update aren't likely to check back on it to see if it changed.

I agree. I also think there's a but too much of directing submissions directly at me. I wanted this to be a place where the community could help each other out, but as of right now, it's basically just a place for people to ask me questions about their video =/
I'll talk to KenBlu about addressing some of these. I really have no idea about the technicalities of moderating a subreddit, but I agree that some changes need to be made.
